The Chestnut Ridge Afterschool Program is seeking two part time educators. One would need to be at least 21 years of age, and the second postion could be a high school student. The Chestnut Ridge After School Program provides a safe, fun and exciting Christian environment for children in grades K-8 where they can enjoy the natural fun of being outside and just being kids. We believe our students’ creativity is enhanced through a mix of structured activities and unstructured play.

The Youth and Family Programs Manager is the point person for Bernheim's efforts to connect young people and families to nature. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate leadership skills in public programming and point to past successes related to nature based education. Candidates must be able to connect with individuals and groups in engaging ways and be comfortable working with volunteers, staff and outside resource people. Knowledge of the appropriate use of technologies and communication tools is desired. Although not required, grant writing skills, project management experience and examples of creative problem solving will be favorably considered. This position is a full-time position with benefits.
